Jirav is looking for an experienced and motivated software engineer to become the backbone for our US-based development team.

This is a Full Stack position. However, if you've been focusing primarily on either front- and back-end side of the house, keep on reading. We are looking for FE and BE engineers as well. Pls indicate your specialization when you apply.

What will you be working on?

Our technology stack is rather straightforward, pragmatic, and efficient. The application leverages the Angular framework. The backend is built in Java 11 (will be Java 17 soon). We use Spring Boot 2 and MySQL.

Application usability is paramount. We are successful by articulating complex financial concepts though simple and intuitive dashboards. We provide tools for formulating sophisticated planning scenarios. You will be instrumental to improving the usability of the entire application and maintaining the overall customer satisfaction.

The principal part of our BE architecture implements a complex, multi-dimensional, in-memory model, which enables the real time reporting and exploration of the planning scenarios.

We integrate with a growing number of providers companies like Gusto, Intuit, Oracle, Xero, Sage to fetch the data used for reporting and modeling.

You will find our code base well planned, maintainable, and testable. A significant effort has been put into development of unit test cases. A comprehensive integration testing framework will be put in place in 2022.

At this point, our software runs atop Azure. We strive to leverage the best modern CI/CD tools and practices.

You will invest your time into building new functionality and scalability of the product (on both the design and implementation levels) as well as working on enhancing tooling and continuously improving the dev experience. You will have an opportunity to work with and mentor the less senior members of the dev team.
